Chevron Lace Beaded Beads

This is a necklace composed of beaded beads that I made in the Melanie Potter Workshop. They are made with chevron chain, first a tube for the foundation, then circles added on each level of the chain. They are made with size 15 for the lace, and size 11 for the foundation. Lots of potential uses for these beads!!

Why Beading?

I have just retired from my day job as a senior administrator for a school board, and now have more time revisiting all the hobbies I have loved but not had as much time for over the years.
I love to play with the beads, and however much I organize my stash, I can mess it up in a few minutes when I am trying to work out a pattern. I continue to be amazed by the amount of bead information on the internet. There are so many patterns and general information. Inspiration from other artists is all over the world, and the world is your oyster on the internet. I am not really sure why, but I am addicted to finding out new techniques and patterns. I hope this blog will share some of my inspirations.
